![]() New York Times bestselling authors Mary Jo Putney, Jo Beverley, and Lois McMaster Bujold join forces with award-winning authors Catherine Asaro, Jennifer Roberson, and Deb Stover in this all-new anthology of original stories proving that love can conquer all.even the boundaries of time and space.įrom sixteenth-century Britain to the farthest reaches of outer space, from medieval adventures to tales of inter-galactic love, here is a compilation that explores the wonderfully kinetic forces that lovers share - forces too great to resist. It's too bad, because I love the idea behind this anthology. ![]() ![]() The other stories in this book - even the ones by Catherine Asaro and Mary Jo Putney, two excellent authors whose work I usually enjoy - just didn't excite me. ![]() I think it would stand alone, but I'm just not sure. I'm not sure how well it would translate for someone who is unfamiliar with that series, though. Irresistible Forces by Lois McMaster Bujold, Catherine Asaro, Mary Jo Putney, Deb Stover, Jo Beverley, Jennifer Roberson, January 3, 2006, Signet edition. I absolutely loved Lois McMaster Bujold's story, "Winterfair Gifts." It's a wonderful addition to the Vorkosigan series, and it really fleshed out and brought to life two minor characters from that series, Sergeant Taura and Armsman Roic. ![]() Rating this book was difficult, because it's an anthology. ![]()
